Role: Senior Sitecore Developer

Location: San Francisco, CA (Onsite)

Duration: 12 Months

What the Client is looking for :

• Heavy back-end development experience with Sitecore CMS experiences

• .Net, C#, web service integrations Sitecore developer with overall experience of 8+ years including:

• Minimum 5+ years of core Sitecore development experience, .Net applications and services development experience is a plus.

• Responsibilities include developing new sites and modules as well as making enhancements and supporting existing sites.

• Need for interaction with business to understand the requirements and giving optimal solution demands candidate to have good communication skills.

• Ideal candidate must be passionate about delivering high-quality products, ensuring consistent use of technical architecture standards. Must have required Qualifications.

Skills & Experiences:

• Min 5 yrs. relevant experience Sitecore CMS development

• Sitecore Version 8+ certified, preference to experience with Sitecore PaaS

• Experience working with marketers to understand their digital marketing needs and providing solutions using Sitecore DMS features

• Expertise in Sitecore ASP.NET (.NET Core) MVC web applications development and C# for .Net applications and RESTful services development

• Proficient with technologies such as XHTML, AngularJS, AJAX, HTML5, JavaScript, JQuery.

• Microsoft Azure to host web applications and administration of the platform

• Experience in cross browser compatibility, accessibility, web standards and understanding and building responsive designs.

• Configuring search requirements with Solr search engine

• Experience in implementing enterprise level applications and web services (SOAP, REST)

• Experience with Helix conventions and principles

• Experience with Microsoft SQL server

• Experience with Microsoft development tools and standards including Visual Studio

• Experience with writing automated unit and integration test scripts

• Working knowledge of Microsoft VS Testing Framework for unit testing

• Experience integrating with 3rd party services, including social applications (e.g. Facebook, Twitter).

• Experience with code review and testing

• Experience with source control systems (SVN, GitLab) Job responsibilities

• Proactively providing suggestions to improve system and coming up with solutions for new requirements

• Understands all aspects of the software development life cycle (e.g. requirements, analysis, design, implementation, testing, and documentation). Also understands the associated execution models (e.g. Waterfall, Agile, Iterative Development, etc.)

• Develop, Code or modify, test and debug application programs of varying degree of complexities

• Unit, Integration and functional testing

• Troubleshoot problems and identify the required changes

• Update / Create relevant design and technical documentations
