Description:

Responsible for developing strategies for effective data analysis and reporting. Selects, configures, and implements analytical solutions. Develops and implements data analytics, data collection systems, and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality. Identifies, analyzes, and interprets trends or patterns in complex data sets. Monitors performance and quality control plans to identify performance. Works on problems of moderate and varied complexity where analysis of data may require adaptation of standardized practices.

 

JOB DUTIES:

·         End-to-end/full-stack software solutions development and deployment of our Machine Learning (ML) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) algorithms.

·         Design, code, test, implement, debug and validate applications by discussing with source teams.

·         Document design decisions and develop modular software components; monitor system performance metrics and identify potential risks/issues.

·         Need to study log data across several applications; Derive insights out of the disjoint datasets using supervised and unsupervised machine learning algorithms.

·         Should design Anomaly detection applications with real-time alert monitoring capabilities.

·         Should be able to independently work and build the AI/ML models (both real-time and batch)

·         Present project metrics, complex ML and AI concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

 

MUST HAVE SKILLS:

·         3+ years of experience in software development using Python, Scala, Java, RESTful API, Apache Spark & Kafka

·         3+ years of experience with distributed Big Data technologies such as Hadoop, Hive, NiFi, Elastic Search, Logstah and Kibana

·         2-3 years of Experience with Spark streams

·         Experience in Scala, R, Java, Perl, Shell

·         Experience with Tensorflow

·         Experience with Machine learning libraries, some Data Modeling experience

 

DESIRED SKILLS:

·         Knowledge of statistical theories and techniques commonly used in recommendation, prediction, anomaly detection and optimization models

·         Ability and desire to go beneath the surface of a problem and distill it into a clear set of hypotheses that can be tested

·         Design, plan, and manage projects from start to finish & produce data-driven results with appropriate techniques to answer key business questions

·         Mastery of statistical programming languages such as Python

·         Experience with machine learning algorithms such as collaborative filtering, k-nearest neighbors, random forests and ensemble methods and their corresponding implementation packages in Scikit, Spark mllib, Tensorflow & H2O.

·         Capable of deploying the ML models into a production environment fully integrated as a solution end to end

·         Knowledge of Kubernetes

·         Knowledge of Akka or any other microservices platform

·         Knowledge of secure coding with OWASP coding practices

·         Knowledge of Hortonworks toolset (Zookeeper, HDFS, etc)

 

 

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Physics or Mathematics discipline

 

Desirable:

·         Hortonworks HDPC JAVA Certifications

·         AWS Developer certification
