Position: .Net Application Developer

Location: Austin, TX

Duration: 12+ Months

 

JOB DESCRIPTION:

 

Skillset

Developer should be very familiar with advanced concepts and have relevant, hands-on experience in many of the following areas to be a successful contributor on the team:

•             Net Programming, .Net Framework 4.0 – 4.7.2, C# , VB.Net

•             Service Oriented Architecture (event-driven SOA, Web Services, REST API )

•             XML, XLST, XPath Programming

•             Message driven architecture (SOA)

•             Build and Deploy tools like Git , TFS , Nuget and Automated Deployments tools.

•             Database performance tuning

•             Application Performance (threading, indexing, clustering, caching)

•             Strong Computer Science Fundamentals, Knowledge of data structures and big O notation

•             Unit Testing and Performance Profiling

•             Asp.Net, AJAX, MVC , WCF Services and Rest API

•             Visual Studio 2015 – 2017 , Postman , Fiddler and developer tools

•             Entity Framework, Microsoft Enterprise Library

•             Protocols like TCP/IP. HTTPS and HTTP.

•             Database design, SQL Server, SQL Programming – Stored Procedures, Triggers etc.

•             .Net Core ( nice to have)

 

Qualifications

 

•             Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline strongly preferred, typically five or more years of solid, diverse work experience in IT with a minimum of four year experience in application program development, or the equivalent in education and work experience. Ideal candidate will have relevant experience either as a consultant or working for a start-up company.
