Title: Solution Architect Worksite Location:  Houston, TX Contract Job Description 10+ years relevant experience in a complex global organization with progressive experience as an enterprise, Solution and Technology architect. 5+ years of leadership experience with teams defining, designing, developing, and implementing complex integration business solutions. Strong understanding of software product development process in an agile environment Understanding of how to baseline multiple scrum teams and guide the integration of such teams to meet overall objectives of the customer organization Act as a conduit between the business teams, development teams and other stakeholders in the organization Understanding of the Oilfield services domain will be added advantage Past experience with Legacy Software Modernization will be a big plus Understands and advocates the Enterprise Architecture and information technology strategies including Industrial IoT, SaaS and ERP. Understanding of the business model, business process knowledge, foundational technology and architectural principles. Be able to partner with engineering leads to define technological design and scope including architecture, APIs, data models, and integrations. Experience with build, test, and deployment automation. Product management experience and familiarity with principles of design/systems thinking as well as lean & agile software delivery. Experience developing and monitoring delivery of efficient and effective solutions to diverse and complex business problems. Act as an expert adviser, coach and mentor to technology leadership and management team on latest technology trends and offerings. Strong communication, ability to collaborate within the IT and business organization Reviews others' system designs to ensure selection of appropriate technology, efficient use of resources and integration of multiple systems and technology. Evaluates and undertakes impact analysis on major design options. Ensures that the system architecture balances functional, service quality and systems management requirements Advising on new technology trends and possible adoption to maintain competitive advantage Knowledge of Master Data Management and Data Governance is a plus Knowledge of DevOps particularly as it is applied to docker deployments onto Azure Platform is a plus Demonstrated ability to have successfully completed multiple, complex technical projects Prior experience with application delivery using an Onshore/Offshore model
