Role: Database Administrator

Location: San Jose, CA

Duration: 11 Months

 

Extract Transform and Load - 8+Yearsewith Data Warehouse production support processes in resolving L2 / L3 level tickets.

Experience supporting data platforms, provide administrative support /server administration (AWS Cloud, Talend), SW package installation, patching, upgrading, application troubleshooting and testing.
Proficient in one or more programming language such as Python, SQL. Proficient in AWS ecosystem (or other Cloud platforms), S3, EC2, Redshift or Snowflake, Talend, Matillion (or comparable ETL), and Tableau. Experience with setting up monitoring and metrics on live production systems.
Script and develop Automation for repeatable installation and configuration including manual processes using Python, SQL, etc - Track application activity identify potential issues and act proactively to prevent anticipated problems -
Maintain access privileges and account groups - Implement change control and release management procedures via BitBucket, Github - Work with Data Engineering development teams
