ServiceNow Developer and Administrator (w/ configuration experience) Need only GC/USC Location: Seattle, WA (remote allowed) Start Date: 6/24/19 (client is ready to bring on a consultant as soon as consultant can start) LOA: 6 months (extensions very likely) Day To Day Duties: - Responsible for the technical specification and implementation of customer requests
- Work in small dev team to convert customer requests into solutions and make the necessary changes to deliver the request
- Work as an active team member on the DevOps team to help define targets, obstacles, & action plans both for internal DevOps processes as well as external business processes.
- Write test plans and other artifact documentation as needed
- Assist in other functions of the DevOps team as needed (ie.. QA, Testing, other coordination activities).
- Participate in Sprint Planning, Retrospectives, Daily Standup, and other Agile ceremonies as required.
- This person will get tickets assigned weekly (or more) that will consume the majority of their time.
Requirements: - Expert in ServiceNow administration, configuration, and developer required:
- ServiceNow ITSM, CMDB, KB experience required
- Experience with Business Rules, Includes, UI Actions, Scheduled Jobs
- Experience with ServiceNow client and server-side scripting
- Understanding of ServiceNow APIs
- Integration of ServiceNow to Other Applications
- Customizing ServiceNow using UI Pages, UI Macro & CMS using CSS, HTML, Jelly.
- Expert in ServiceNow workflow configuration and management
- Experience writing scoped applications and extending the ServiceNow schema
- Languages: Java, Javascript, AngularJS, REST, SOAP, perl, powershell
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Hands on experience in following the iterative and agile SDLC
