Contract Role
Location: Seattle, WA
Job Description:
o At least 4+ years of a solid understanding of data engineering, integration, and warehousing concepts and patterns
o Expertise to design, build and maintain batch and streaming data solutions at scale in both on-premises and cloud environments
o Experience with DevOps methodologies and continuous integration/continuous delivery practices o Strong programming/scripting knowledge (proficient in SQL, C# scripts, Python, R)
o Background in data warehouse design (e.g. dimensional modeling) and data mining o In-depth understanding of database management systems, online analytical processing (OLAP) and ETL (Extract, transform, load) framework
o Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills, familiarity with PowerBI technologies.
o Knowledge of SQL queries, designing Schemas, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
o Passion for data science and machine learning with a strong desire to develop your analysis and modeling skills
o Partner with data scientists, analytics engagement managers, and other data engineers to discover, collect, cleanse, and refine the data needed for analysis and modeling
o Analyze large datasets to extract actionable insights and inform experimental design and model development o Design robust, reusable and scalable data-driven solutions and data pipeline frameworks to automate the ingestion, processing, and delivery of both structured and unstructured batch and real-time streaming data
o Build models using basic statistical and machine learning techniques, partnering with data scientists
