Job Description:
Overview:
This is a Technical Document Management position for the Enterprise Architecture Team. This person will NOT be a Technical Writer. This person will manage enterprise documentation via SharePoint and Office365 and the processes required to COLLECT and VERIFY COMPLETENESS throughout the development/project lifecycle for dozens of projects.
Responsibilities:
- Determine, implement, and evaluate business metrics to meet ongoing organizational needs.
- Analyze and report on complex data sets.
- Communicate complex data in comprehensible ways.
- Critically evaluate information from multiple sources and indicate quality of final analysis
- Act as a liaison between IT and business units by opening and maintaining lines of communication to monitor and improve business unit satisfaction with IT,
- Provide a single point of contact for business units into IT and acts as a conduit between the two organizations
- Review, analyze, and evaluate business systems and user needs.
- Document requirements, define scope and objectives, and formulate systems to parallel overall business strategies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, CIS, or related field
- 6+ years of experience in business analysis in a related field
- Office 365
- SharePoint Process Documentation Management
- Office 365/Visio/PC Skills - medium to advanced Word, Visio and Excel capabilities (Data collection, manipulation, calculation, pivot tables, basic graphs, etc).
- SharePoint - medium to advanced knowledge of SharePoint Document Team rooms and repositories.
- Ability to collaborate with others to curate/collect required Architecture documentation.
- Experience working in a defined process where required steps/documentation needs to be enforced.
- Ability to SUPPORT the creation of process documentation, standards, templates and strategic documents.
Preferences:
- Master's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, CIS or related field
- Certified Business Analyst Professional (CBAP) or Certification of Competency in Business Analysis (CCBA).
- 3+ years of work experience in a business role requiring interaction with executive leadership.
- 3+ years of work experience working on cross-functional project teams.
