Contract: 6 months with possibility of extension

Job Description:

Overview:

This is a Technical Document Management position for the Enterprise Architecture Team. This person will NOT be a Technical Writer. This person will manage enterprise documentation via SharePoint and Office365 and the processes required to COLLECT and VERIFY COMPLETENESS throughout the development/project lifecycle for dozens of projects.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Determine, implement, and evaluate business metrics to meet ongoing organizational needs.
  • Analyze and report on complex data sets.
  • Communicate complex data in comprehensible ways.
  • Critically evaluate information from multiple sources and indicate quality of final analysis
  • Act as a liaison between IT and business units by opening and maintaining lines of communication to monitor and improve business unit satisfaction with IT,
  • Provide a single point of contact for business units into IT and acts as a conduit between the two organizations
  • Review, analyze, and evaluate business systems and user needs.
  • Document requirements, define scope and objectives, and formulate systems to parallel overall business strategies.
 
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, CIS, or related field
  • 6+ years of experience in business analysis in a related field
  • Office 365
  • SharePoint Process Documentation Management
  • Office 365/Visio/PC Skills - medium to advanced Word, Visio and Excel capabilities (Data collection, manipulation, calculation, pivot tables, basic graphs, etc).
  • SharePoint - medium to advanced knowledge of SharePoint Document Team rooms and repositories.
  • Ability to collaborate with others to curate/collect required Architecture documentation.
  • Experience working in a defined process where required steps/documentation needs to be enforced.
  • Ability to SUPPORT the creation of process documentation, standards, templates and strategic documents.
 
Preferences:
  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, CIS or related field
  • Certified Business Analyst Professional (CBAP) or Certification of Competency in Business Analysis (CCBA).
  • 3+ years of work experience in a business role requiring interaction with executive leadership.
  • 3+ years of work experience working on cross-functional project teams.
