Job Title Quality Assurance Engineer (Python)
Location Boise, Idaho
Job Description
· They have 4 openings for QA Engineers with Python
· These candidate swill be debugging Python code
· Have to have Python experience (deal breaker) – they can have less than 1 year of Python if needed
· This is a 3 month project with possibility of extension and/or conversion
· They can sit remotely
· Interviews will be in person (for Boise candidates) or they can do a video/skype/phone interview Quality Assurance Engineer (Python) Required Qualifications:
● Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience
● 1 or more years' experience working in a structured QA environment
● Quality assurance experience, preferably with e-commerce web Applications, architectures and relevant development/QA tools
● Programming Proficiency; prefer Python with pytest.
● Experience with RESTful APIs
● SQL Experience; would also like NoSQL (e.g. MongoDB)
● Strong Analytical skills
● Customer Focus and Relationship Building, including demonstrated ability to work well with business analysts, developers, management and end users
● Have a positive, "can do" attitude, and willing to play nice with others
Preferred Qualifications:
● Soap UI, Appium / Selenium
● Package managers like PyPM, npm,
● debuggers, http proxies and packet capture
● Familiarity with load testing concepts and load test tools such as OpenSTA, Grinder, or JMeter
● Familiarity with JIRA or other issue trackers
● Version control systems like git
● Continuous integration with systems like TeamCity, Jenkins, Bamboo
● Security testing
Quality Assurance Engineer (Python) Responsibilities:
● Automated test writing for unit, integration, functional and other types of tests
● Identifying Acceptance Criteria
● Debugging, troubleshooting code
● Demonstrating enhancements and bug fixes
● Working with developers, business analysts, and other QA Engineers
● Daily standups
