Estimated Duration: 6 months with a possibility of direct employment with the Client.
 
Remote or Onsite: On location at the Client's site.

Description: Our Client, a mortgage investment firm, is looking to hire a Business Analyst in Coral Gables, FL.
 
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:   
 
• Deliver identification, validation, measurement, documentation and implementation of automation initiatives focusing on process throughput, efficiency and effectiveness;
• Leverage people, processes and systems to lead process improvement and automation projects end-to-end for stakeholders across multiple business lines;
• Complete current state assessment of business processes and document each of the following areas in detail: problem statements, process flows, gap analysis and future state solution recommendations;
• Engage SMEs, business partners and stakeholders to understand the current process, true business needs and requirements. Create comprehensive documentation (i.e. BRD, process map etc.) and present to the business users for sign off;
• Create end-to-end cross-functional process/flow maps at a high-level as well as at a detailed/modular level;
• Lead discovery sessions, design reviews, walk-throughs and training with stakeholders for each process under development;
• Work with RPA team end-to-end in designing, developing, configuring, testing and launching process automations;
• Be a thought leader that seeks to improve current processes while still adhering to the business requirements and considering RPA capabilities. Diagnose pain-points within the business area's processes and methodologies, provide solutions for redesign, reconstruct etc.;
• Solve problems and address issues that may arise in running of RPA processes. Troubleshoot, debug, evaluate and modify RPA solutions where needed;
• Evaluate operational benefits of automation and convey benefits and gains to business leaders.
 
Requirements:
 
• Experience as a Business Analyst, Process Engineer and/or consulting work experience (4+ years);
• Experience with Business Process Mapping and Modeling;
• Experience in process re-engineering and process improvement;
• Experience with SQL (preferred);
• Experience with workflow automation tools (preferred);
• Experience in mortgage servicing/originations industry or experience in the financial industry (preferred);
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, IT or related field;
• Lean/Six Sigma certification (preferred).
