requirements:
• Strong communication skills and the ability to liaise with the following other support groups:
o Customers, Business Analysts, Data Analysts and technical assistants (Geotechs) within business units
• Minimum two years direct experience working with or supporting applications
• Strong understanding of information systems and data
• Strong understanding of data conversion and translations
• Strong understanding of UNIX and Windows Environment
• Strong understanding of application deployment in UNIX and Windows Environment
• Strong understanding of SQL (SQL Server and Oracle)
• Knowledge of GGRE Workflows and Processes
• Computer skills in:
• Suite of GGRE applications (Petrel, DSG, Petra, etc.)
• Customization and administration
• Ability to maintain the integrity of the application
• Problem-solving skills with the ability to solve application and relevant data related problems for the customers
• Works well under times of intense pressure and adheres to tight deadlines
• Must be able to prioritize requests and multi-task
• Ability to learn new applications and techniques quickly
