Participate in Requirements Analysis; design Applications based on System Requirements and Architecture, prototype if necessary, develop, unit test and deploy applications Understand Business needs and processes; identify solutions, present and guide project team/sponsors in identifying best solution. Design, develop, modify, integrate, test, deploy and support enterprise-level for Java/J2EE applications Interacts with senior customer personnel / business as well IT Stakeholders on significant technical matters frequently requiring coordination across organizational lines. Design and implement complex enterprise integrations with industry standard technologies such as Web Methods, Java EE, WebLogic Server, SOAP, REST, XML, Eclipse DB2, Sybase, LDAP/TAM, Active Directory and other internal systems in the enterprise Developing and Enhancing flow services in WebMethods Developing and enhancing replication between databases using IBM CDC replication, SQL replication, SOAPUI, Rapid SQL Writing Unix shell Scripts, ANT/Maven Build Scripts, Stored procedures, Complex SQLs, Autosys scripts and Jil jobs Deliver projects in either Agile or Waterfall software development methodologies, as project dictates Technical Leadership Support planning activities, such as impact assessments, level of effort analysis and developer task assignments Contribute to the enhancement of application development/delivery standards, tools and processes. Improve code quality by leading design and code reviews, and solve challenging issues related to performance tuning and scalability also validate that the design patterns adhere to approved architecture Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers Deliver knowledge transfer sessions to ramp up new development team members   Production Support Provide production support that includes evaluate defects, investigate cause and come up with solutions to address defects Participate in on-call production support rotation Partner with IT Shared Services partners to resolve production issues Qualifications 5+ years’ experience in Information Technology Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related field or equivalent working experience 3+ years of hands-on experience in design, implementation and production support Java / J2EE framework applications 3+ years of hands-on experience in design, implementation and production support of Java/J2EE applications Strong technical and analytical skills with the ability to analyze system functionality with customer and resolve production issues Experience in tuning the system for performance improvements and performance related system design Thorough understanding of relational databases, SQL, XML and web services (SOAP/REST) Experience applying Object Oriented Analysis and Design principles Experience in using source control tools GIT, Artifactory and Clearcase for source safe Knowledge of business process modeling and optimization techniques, including orchestration of modeled process Some exposure to infrastructure, network and enterprise scale environments Practical experience designing and building enterprise and/or distributed systems Demonstrates ability to analytically address complex problems, process critical data, establish facts, and draw quality conclusions Ability to work well under pressure, some tight deadlines and with ambiguity on some projects Experience with systems and software architecture Preferred skills, but not mandatory – Experience with Weblogic, IBM DB2, Sybase, MS SQL Server, UNIX/Linux. Should be effective while co-ordination with the team. Must have an experience in Dockers , Open shift, AWS and MongoDB. Must have a strong knowledge on SQL queries. Able to formulate complex queries in SQL and should be able to identify long running queries and suggest solutions. Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Must have effective Verbal and Oral Communication. Experience in Production support preferable. Should be able to perform Independently. The individual operates as a key spokesperson for clients to ensure appropriate communication and follow through of activities. S/he makes decisions on client-related technology development and management activities and ensures the correct business functionality, requirements, and industry standards are addressed with proposed solutions. The Business Analyst II participates in evaluating requests using an ROI approach and performs a liaison function with BBH’s clients/business units and technology teams to accomplish the agreed upon tasks within budget and agreed upon timeframes. - Participate in and contribute to internal and/or external client workshops/meetings to gather, understand and document client’s project goals, workflows, complex business needs, gaps, and opportunities.   Requirements: Conduct business analysis efforts for projects and initiatives. Determine how changing business needs will affect the system, product, and process. Describe the business need and potential solution in terms that both business and technical teams can understand. Review all technical documentation related to the approved solution. Ensure current and accurate documentation of the solution, including business requirements documents, use cases, and wire frames. Understand the system architecture and functionality, and assess the feasibility of client requests and applies the features of the various products as applicable. Compose business requirement documents, use cases, issue logs, project status documents, scope change documents, mapping specifications, test plans, test cases, scope statements, and business cases. Participate in industry and professional networks to ensure awareness of industry standards, trends, and best practices. Financial services industry knowledge and experience preferred. Solid understanding of custody operations and fund accounting workflows, as well as an understanding of the key roles assumed by Custodians, Fund Accountants, Fund Administrators, and Transfer Agents preferred. Experience applying project management principles, practices, tools and techniques, including business case development, ROI analysis, planning, scope and issues management, budgeting, and facilitation. Proficiency using windows-based applications, including MS Office applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access. Working knowledge of MS Project. Demonstrated knowledge of SWIFT messaging, communication methods such as FTP and MQ, and other systems and Internet technologies. Creative and effective problem-solving and analytical skills.
