Technology Architect | 2 | Anywhere in US/Open to Travel to client location | Oracle ATG, Java, Microservices | In the role of Technology Architect, you will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design. You will play an important role in the following. • Provide oversight, planning, and technical direction to team to ensure successful delivery of Hybris projects • Solution Architecture and Design for the Hybris ecommerce Solutions Components • Strong understanding of Hybris and integration with Data hub, SAP System • Review project scope, NFRS and provide inputs in planning deliverables involving medium/high complex technology content • Review project risks and identify key risk elements from technology perspective and propose mitigation plan like training, frameworks and PoCs for medium/high complex projects • Help projects in planning reuse/ tools to improve technical quality and productivity of the project • Participate in customer discussions during requirements analysis to understand system requirements and non-functional requirements like performance, security, availability, scalability, etc • Evaluate solution alternatives, frameworks and products considering functional and non-functional requirements, acceptability to the user community, technical feasibility and efficiency and propose solution architecture • Review and develop design of application keeping in mind conformance to proposed architecture and to achieve functional and non-functional requirements for medium/high complex projects • Lead technical discussions with customer architects and other stakeholders at all stages of project to articulate solution, design, performance engineering results and obtain sign-off on key technical deliverables • Provide inputs for build and deployment automation strategy • Help resolve complex technical issues during build, deployment and support • Participate in discussions with key stakeholders to identify business and IT problems associated with current systems • Conduct analysis of existing technology landscape to understand gaps in application architecture, data architecture and technology architecture • Understand organizational IT standards, platforms and key enterprise roadmaps • Work closely with program manager, business analysts to quantify the impact of the problems and articulate to key sponsors / stakeholders • Support in competency enhancement strategy in technical area, ensures capability development of the team through effective knowledge management and certifications.
