Job Details:
Job Title: Senior Test Manager (SAP)
Job Location: Secaucus, NJ
Job Duration: 6+ Months contract
Job Summary .
Client responsibilities (analytical/decision making/supervisory)
· Improve Testing strategies on functional testing, performance testing, batch testing and regression testing to increase coverage and therefore reduce the chance of incidents being raised in Production
· Define how testing will be executed post-Wave One in order to reduce the reliance on countries establishing teams for each test phase
· Extend automated regression testing for future releases and country LSTR changes
· Gain confidence of Area Deployment Leaders and production countries into regression testing approach
· Ensures adequate testing for to be deployed countries, efficient and effective
· Assesses testing related risks and reports to program and Area deployment leaders on them with respect to deployed and to-be-deployed countries
Knowledge, skills and experience requirements:
· A background in test execution and test management
· A knowledge of software testing tools and techniques
· Experience of managing multiple delivery partners to test overlapping software releases
· Experience of contract and commercial management of third parties with knowledge of how to demonstrate that third parties are delivering value for Client
· Frequent travel to India is required, up to once every six weeks
Experience:
· Minimum 15 years’ experience in Testing engagements for SAP global roll out projects
· Excellent experience in client-facing roles within blue chip organizations
· Experience of Team Management with multi-location teams
· Experience of Line Management responsibilities for medium sized teams
