Job Title: Senior Software Engineer Location: Boston, MA Duration: 6 Months Max Rate: 65/hr C2C Max - Knowledge of the SCRUM / Agile development practices
- Software engineering experience in the following: Java, Scala, JavaScript, TypeScript, PL/SQL and exposure to WPF / C#.
- Build experience in restful services in Micro Services style architecture.
- Awareness of functional programming, emerging technologies such as Scala / Akka / Camel and messaging frameworks such as Kafka, Active MQ and EMS.
- Awareness of cloud based technologies.
- Experienced with technologies that support Automated Testing and CI/CD
- Experience with messaging frameworks . Solid experience in Java (back end and middle). Since this role is based in our asset management team, candidates with clear credit history are mandatory.
- Bachelor's degree (or above) in either Business, Math, Engineering or Computer Science related field
- Experience as software engineer, delivering software using agile development practices
- Ability to develop complex trading products and components
- Experience with Continuous Integration & Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) practices
- Experience with Off Premise infrastructure and capabilities (e.g. Cloud based solutions such as AWS)
