Min 5+ years in BI reporting and design and implementation
Role:
Conducting and participating in meetings with the Business owners, Product Owners and Product sponsors in order to understand what they are looking for, as a part of the current project.
Interpreting the KPI definitions, and dashboard needs by sympathizing with the business team.
Define new KPIs, and get approvals from the business team to make sure the new ones make business sense.
Developing and whiteboarding wireframes, beta dashboards and presenting them to the business teams to see if they meet their requirements.
Documenting the dashboard needs, the critical success factors of the business, related KPIs and measures in the dataset, and the designs.
Analyze the data sources, be it a RDBMS or a XLSX file or a CSV file.
Perform the required data wrangling before connecting to the data source from the Tableau client.
Develop individual reports and design the final dashboard.
Research ways to help the report users to see the bigger picture at a single glance and insert the ability to drill through the different levels of dimensions.
Testing the reports for formatting and data correctness, and publishing the workbooks on the Tableau server for scheduled refreshes.
Defining access control levels for different types of users, and communicating the requirements to the Tableau Server team to apply the same to the workbooks.
Develop custom reporting dashboards, reports and scorecards mainly focusing on Tableau and its components.
Be an expert in the programming systems used. Each application could source from multiple sources, including Oracle databases, SQL Server, Excel, flat files, and CSV. The integration of all of this data while applying the appropriate business logic is the great value.
Candidate should be strong in SQL Server, TSQL, and writing procedure
