We are looking for Senior Developers to build core and custom solutions in an expanding Cloud services environment. You will work with peer developers, functional and operational teams in the design, development and implementation of cross cloud services and the ServiceNow Cloud Management Platform. You will also provide architectural input and maintain stability of the overall platform by ensuring the appropriate design and development standards are used at all times.

 

Primary Responsibilities include:

                     Design and development in the ServiceNow Kingston release Cloud Management component

                     Use of ServiceNow Cloud Blueprints for the creation and modification of Azure, AWS, GCP resources, YAML and Infrastructure as Code

                     Translate cloud native API commands to ServiceNow Blueprint formats

                     Develop ServiceNow software solutions using CAPI, JavaScript, Jelly, one or more Web Services, MYSQL, XML, HTML and CSS

                     Develop and deliver customized portal web pages in ServiceNow using Bootstrap and AngularJS JavaScript frameworks

                     Work with functional and admin teams to deliver automated workflow solutions in ServiceNow

                     Advanced scripting of business rules, UI Policies, Client Scripts, ACLs, Workflow Activities, etc.

                     3rd party software integrations with ServiceNow

                     Facilitate and support the rollout of new application and enhancements in ServiceNow

                     Advise functional and admin teams on design, development and overall best practices.

                     React quickly to ever changing market conditions and technology advancements with “out of the box” solutions that allow our business partners to have the tools that will enable them to reach and exceed our sales goals

                     Collaborate with business, systems, and Technology partners in business analysis meetings to develop business and systems requirements

                     Manage individual project priorities, deadlines and deliverables

                     Analyze system performance issues and determine performance enhancements

 

Qualifications

                     5+ years of software development experience

                     1+ year experience working with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

                     Minimum 4 years of JavaScript experience including usage of jQuery, Bootstrap and AngularJS frameworks; HTML experience

                     BS degree in Computer Science, similar technical field of study or equivalent practical experience

                     Working experience developing services against AWS, Azure and GCP

                     Proven and verifiable history of analyzing business situations and working within a group environment to provide efficient and effective software solutions

                     Participation in the full software development life cycle: Analysis, Design, Coding, Testing and promotion into Production

                     Proven experience implementing and customizing a web architected, n-tiered enterprise applications, strong experience with SaaS applications

                     Experience with one or more general purpose programming languages including but not limited to: Java, C/C++, C#, Objective C, Python, JavaScript, or Go.

                     Strong knowledge of Web 2.0 Technologies (Java Scripting, XML, HTML, AJAX, Jelly, CSS, etc.), PowerShell, Perl and Shell scripting

                     Knowledge of system design and development used within Service Oriented Architecture and web services integration (SOAP, WSDL, JAXWS)

                     Proven history of providing technical support during all phases of project delivery. This includes, but is not limited to: development of project estimates, solution design review, documentation creation and review, and peer code reviews

                     Relational database expertise in relation to an enterprise software system (Oracle, MS SQL, MySQL, etc.)

                     Demonstrated experience with service integration using LDAP, MS Active Directory, ADFS, Single Sign-on and web services

                     Experience working with four or more from the following: infrastructure as a service platforms, platform as a service, service management, web application development, Unix/Linux environments, mobile application development, distributed and parallel systems, machine learning, information retrieval, natural language processing, networking, developing large software systems, and/or security software development.

                     Strong knowledge of ITIL v3 methodologies, ITSM concepts, enterprise IT architecture, relational databases, ITIL certifications a plus

                     Strong working knowledge designing, developing and deploying IaaS and n-tier application hosting on AWS and Azure

                     Experience with enterprise ServiceNow implementations

                     Must be adaptable to work in a varied, fast paced exciting, ever changing environment

                     Strong core knowledge of ITIL processes

                     Good analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve technical issues

                     Self-starter with desire to understand work and project objectives

                     Excellent organizational, analytical, written and oral communications skills

                     Excellent interpersonal skills with proven ability to use those skills to effectively Interface with end users and development teams to conduct systems analysis and planning

 

Additional Experience:

                     1+ year experience with ServiceNow Jakarta/Kingston Cloud Management implementation and administration in a hybrid cloud scenario

                     Working knowledge of ServiceNow components such as UI (Service Portal and CMS) Change/Incident/Problem Management, Asset Management, CMDB, Knowledge, Release Management.

                     ServiceNow Implementation Specialist Certification Preferred

                     ServiceNow Application Developer and/or System Administrator Certification
