- Advanced level HTML5/CSS3
- 6-10 yrs experience related experience
Other Requirements: - 5 years of Front-End UI programming experience.
- Advanced level HTML/CSS (HTML5 and CSS3).
- Experience with JavaScript, Angular and jQuery, including JSON and AJAX with a good knowledge of the ecosystem.
- Proficient in SASS/SCSS.
- Experience using Angular, jQuery, and Razor.
- Familiarity with writing views within an MVC architecture.
- Some Experience with ASP.NET.
- Experience developing enterprise web applications and websites and testing responsive layouts.
- Proficient with cross-browser issues and testing.
- Passion for crafting user interfaces and evangelizing the benefits of standards based coding.
- Knowledge of user-centered design methods.
- Attention to detail, driving for pixel perfect layouts and committed to great user experience
- Experience developing in an Agile Scrum environment.
- Intellectual curiosity, problem-solving abilities, and ability to keep up with emerging web technologies with strong work ethic and organizational skills.
- Self-starter who is comfortable working both independently and in a team environment.
- Experience with GIT or other distributed version control systems.
- Experience writing asynchronous code and consuming APIs from the front end.
- Familiarity with RESTful API best practices.
- Consistently writes clean, modular, readable, testable and maintainable code.
- Strong communication, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities: - Work with a cross functional team (Software Engineers, Quality Assurance, and Database Developers) to create and build next generation web applications.
- Take high fidelity wireframes and prototypes and turn them into functioning, standards compliant user interfaces that display consistently across platforms, devices and browsers.
- Work with a variety of clients to create customer facing web applications.
- Write code that works in modern browsers while degrading gracefully for older ones.
- Identify and address front end performance bottlenecks
- Champion best practices for UI development.
- Ensure the best possible performance and quality of applications.
- Identify bottlenecks and bugs, devise solutions to mitigate these issues.
- Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization.
- Provide HTML/CSS/JS support to members of other development teams
- Perform well under tight deadlines with multiple projects
- Work with a project manager to provide time estimations for projects and tasks.
- Participation in code reviews and providing testing directions for QA.
- Ability to act as a mentor to junior developers.
