Positions: Full Stack Java Developer
Location: Los Angeles, CA
Duration: Long term
 
Job Description:
  • Java/J2EE Developer with Oracle and SQA experience.
  • Experience in the Media/Entertainment industry a plus, in particular, Television Sales Administration.
  • Financials experience preferred.
  • Solid technical background with strong experience in Java development technologies:  J2EE, XML, HTML/DHTML/CSS, Java Script, Java Frameworks, Spring, JSP, AJAX.
  • Strong experience in development with EJB 2.0, JDBC, JMS and MVC patterns.
  • Strong Oracle 11g DB knowledge and PL/SQL background, and ability to write complex SQL queries.
  • Experience with integration and build tools:  Git, Gerrit, Jenkins, Maven.
  • Experience with testing frameworks and tools:  JUnit, Abbot, Cactus, Marathon, QTP, WinRunner, LoadRunner, etc.
  • Experience in defect tracking using project tracking or defect tracking tools like Jira.
  • Display problem solving and analytical skills to resolve complex technical problems.
  • Possess an excellent understanding of business requirements and IT strategies.
  • Capable of understanding existing code and making fixes with minimal impact.
  • Knowledge of WebLogic 12.1/12.2 Application Server.
  • Proficient in development using Eclipse and TOAD based IDEs.
  • Experience following Software Development Lifecycle methodologies:  Agile, Waterfall
  • Experience with object oriented analysis, design and programming, data models and UML.
  • Experience with designing and building medium-to-large multi-tier web applications.
  • Jasper Reports development experience a plus.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
