Job title: Hadoop Developer

Location: Chicago, IL

6 months contract

Rate: $45/hr on C2C

Only Green card or Citizen

Job Description:

• Looking for Hadoop developer with minimum of 3 years of experience in set up Hadoop data.

• For the Hadoop position we are looking for someone who has experience using Hadoop.

• Specifically we want this person to have knowledge of how to create Hadoop structures that will be efficient to users using the data.

• We are currently moving various sets of data from EDW to Hadoop.

• The two environments while similar in some respects have stark differences on how the tables should be laid out for users.

• We need someone to help take an existing EDW\Teradata table and map it correctly into Hadoop.

• This is not just the initial transfer of the data, but keeping it in sync as future updates are done in both environments.

• Our preference is for this person to be in Chicago, but offshore would also work.

Behavioral Skills:

• Good Attitude and Communication Skill.

• Flexibility to work on any shift (second shift)
