Detailed job description:
Microsoft, VMware, certifications a plus.
Technical:
Assessment of Vulnerabilities including Certificate based Security, Browser Security, Web Server Security and other Client Security
Evaluation of SSL\TLS methods, SSH connections, Web server headers and Authentication methods
Prepare impact analysis for Production Web\Application Servers on Remediation such as Certificate Changes, based on information gathered from various business teams
Evaluate existing User\Client dependencies on Servers that will undergo remediation of Security risks
Conduct testing as required of identified remediation plans to minimize production risk
Create and deploy Scripts\ automation as required, for executing planned remediation on Servers
Plan and prepare Group Policy Objects as required for implementing planned remediation on Servers
Work with application teams to implement remediation requiring application configuration changes.
Raise Change requests including Impact, Implementation and Rollback plans for the identified remediation.
Troubleshoot and resolve related issues post remediation deployment
Skills:
Strong experience with Microsoft Servers.
Extensive experience with one or more of VMware ESX, Microsoft Hyper-V.
Strong experience with Active Directory – GPO.
Experience with VMware suite of tools and with PowerShell.
Implementation experience with or leading small to medium projects.
Broad understanding of networking, system management, Linux and Windows operating systems In the Government market.
excellent Communication skills (written and verbal) to all management levels within customer organization.
Recent experience in security related technology role or recent education in security with demonstrated technical experience.
Experience with building multi-layered security strategies to protect technology and business assets.
Expertise in both Microsoft Azure and AWS environments.
Excellent operating knowledge of Office365 messaging platform.
Expertise in Azure and AWS data protection mechanisms.
Experience Labeling data and applying label based policy in Office365
Experience deploying and configuring network hardware.
Experience working with and securing Windows Operating Systems, both servers and desktops.
Experience with device logging and log collection tools.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate and interact effectively with all levels of personnel.
