Role Test Analyst - SAP QA& Testing
Work location Minnetonka, MN (Local Only)

The QA Testing Analyst is responsible for completing risk assessment, test set up and execution monitoring tasks related to specific projects. This position will contribute to success by ensuring that all risk assessment and testing milestone dates are met on project assignments and will ensure that all testing is completed in compliance with all applicable standard operating procedures. As a Test Analyst, this person will work closely with the design and development teams, and will act as a key participant in test scenario analysis, test case creation, test script development, and defect tracking and reporting.

Job Duties: List the significant/essential duties, tasks or responsibilities which employees in this position are required to perform.
• Lead the change level risk assessment process, partnering with design and development team members to determine testing and release requirements.
• Reviews the Test Scenario guides created by design team members to ensure the tests can be scripted by the Testing Team.
• Communicates with design teams and responds to inquiries about testing procedures.
• Organizes and maintains test cases/scripts within Quality Center to ensure coverage of the defined testing scope for all releases and projects – weekly, quarterly and major.
• Provides guidance to any resource assigned to scripting and execution of test scenarios, test cases, and test data following appropriate SOPs.
• Performs script reviews and approvals and communicates with the design teams to ensure that the intent of the business scenario is covered by the script.
• Monitors the TSCs in Windchill that require QA or Test Manager approval.
• Participates in the scripting reviews and post-execution test result reviews providing feedback and ensuring that testing procedures have been followed.
• Interacts with design and development teams to understand resolution for defect and coordinates re-testing.
• Works with Change Control to monitor transports occurring during a testing cycle to identify TSCs that may need to be re-executed.
• Review and approve object-level data migration documentation after non-PRD test loads.
• Complies with U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, other regulatory requirements, Company policies, operating procedures, processes, and task assignments. Maintains positive and cooperative communications and collaboration with all levels of employees, customers, contractors, and vendors.
• Performs other related duties and responsibilities, on occasion, as assigned.

Works with standard office equipment such as telephone, cellular phone, fax/copier, and a personal computer with standard office software.

Work environment varies from well lighted office/cubicle, low to moderate noise level, to a variety of conditions caused by travel requirements such as customer offices, research labs, hospitals, hotels, use of automobiles, commercial travel, weather, etc.
Physical Demands: Describe the physical demands representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
Activities require a significant amount of sitting in front of a computer monitor, some standing and walking. Significant use of hands and arms, plus finger dexterity to reach, point, write, type, operate a computer and other office equipment. Performs tasks that regularly require good correctable vision and hand/eye coordination. Activities also require significant use of voice and hearing for discussions with other employees.
Qualifications: Describe the minimum education and experience, including knowledge, skills and abilities, required to successfully perform the job. List any certificates, license, and/or registrations required.
General Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent experience
• 2-4 years of experience in software testing and utilizing testing tools such as Client Quality Center
• A demonstrated understanding of testing processes, preferably in an SAP environment
• Knowledge and practice implementing appropriate testing principles
• Experience working in a broader enterprise/cross-division business unit model preferred.
• Ability to work in a highly matrixed and geographically diverse business environment.
• Ability to work within a team and as an individual contributor in a fast-paced, changing environment.
• Ability to leverage and/or engage others to accomplish projects.
• Strong verbal and written communications with ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels in the organization.
• Multitasks, prioritizes and meets deadlines in timely manner.
• Strong organizational and follow-up skills, as well as attention to detail.
• Ability to travel up to 10%
• Ability to maintain regular and predictable attendance.
