Description:  

 

We are looking for a Senior Engineer to lead the development of the clients next-generation backend.  The client’s user base if growing rapidly and is on target to reach 500,000 Users.  This Engineer’s role will be to assist in identifying a solution that will create a smooth and easy transition during implementation.

A Majority of the work will be in Rails/PostgreSQL/Heroku Stack and should expect some DevOps as well. 

 

Work Experience:

• 5 years of experience using Ruby on Rails on the backend.
• Strong Ruby on Rails Skills Agile learning ability Rigor and the ability to abide by clear design rules.
• Ability to thrive individually and as part of a team.
• Advanced knowledge of technical standards, principles and concepts.
• Ability to solve highly complex and unusually challenging technical problems.
• Works virtually independently toward predetermined long-range goals and objectives.
