Role: Lead QA Automation Engineer

Location: San Diego, CA

Duration: 6 Months

Skill Set:

  • 5+ years of experience developing web services.
  • BS/MS in computer science or equivalent work experience
  • Strong experience as a Software Engineer deploying high-quality Java or Python web services in a production environment.
  • 8+ years' experience writing automation/scripts/tools on POSIX systems
  • 3+ years' experience writing Python code
  • 3+ years' experience AWS
  • 5+ years' experience with web services (consuming or creating) with REST
  • 2+ years working in a distributed environment, building and/or consuming microservices
  • Strong understanding of the Software design/architecture process
  • Solid grasp of software engineering fundamentals and their practical application
  • Solid communication skills: Demonstrated ability to explain complex technical issues to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Experience with unit testing & Test Driven Development (TDD)
  • "Self-starter"" attitude and ability to make decisions independently
