Role: IBM MQ Consultant Location: Dallas, TX (Remote) (Once in a month candidate has to visit client office) Duration : 6+ Months Contract Job Summary: What we are looking for is a resource capable of deploying IBM MQ objects through MQSC scripts, the person will also have to build those scripts based on the interface list/MQ diagrams we have. Candidate will also have to troubleshoot and manage the IBM MQ RDQM clusters and assist app teams and customers with issues connecting to our queue managers. Also, we may need the person to work with customer and application stakeholders to understand the requirements and do the overall MQ deployment design. We have customers around the world, so there will be situations in which we’ll need to participate on meetings with customers outside normal business hours. All our infrastructure is in AWS, so basic AWS knowledge is preferred. Based on above requirements, I would guess we need a part of both worlds. We’ll probably need 24/7 support, so candidates will be added to current on call rotation.
