Position:- Senior Release Engineer

Location:-Oaks PA

Duration:-Long contract

Responsibility

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, or equivalent relevant experience.
A minimum of 3 years in information systems operations environment in systems analysis or development. Hands on release management and/or code management processes highly desirable.
Solid understanding of project management principles preferred
Advanced knowledge of software development lifecycle especially Agile methodology experience is a plus
Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional work teams toward task completion
Advanced written and verbal communication skills are a must
Strong communication skills
Possess a high level of technical know-how in a production environment.
Proven decision-making and problem-solving skills.
Comfort in inter-relating with teams and hitting deadlines
Knowledge of JAVA and UNIX scripting is highly desirable.
Experience with code management/deployment tools such as GIT, BitBucket, Ant, Jenkins, IVY, Maven,
Experience with Control-M and Jenkins desirable
Must have strong team focus and client service work ethic.
Ability to work independently and resolve complex technical issues and identify root cause and recommend solutions to help resolve incidents quickly.
Ability to multi-task and complete multiple parallel assignments while working in an interrupt driven environment.
