Job Description

The insurance domain projects include: ISMC Agent Incentive Redesign, Life Bank Deposit Referral Incentive/3MMA, and new project responsibilities, which entail analysis and design, as well as Reviewing documented compensation plan components and associated definition and then developing plan.Other aspects of the projects involve design system architecture, data model, information flow,input and output configuration and reporting templates. QA Testing is also an important aspect of their work, before deployment of the solutions.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Review documented compensation plan components and associated definition and develop plan
• Design system architecture, data model, information flow, input and output configuration and     reporting templates
• Build and Unit Test
• Perform QA testing

• IBM ICM Development Skills
Qualifications
Experience/Education Required: 

Skills Required:
 
• Minimum 4 years of programming experience with IBM Cognos ICM (Varicent)
• Strong knowledge in Design, Development and Testing of ETL methodologies in all the phases of   the Data Warehousing 
• Experience in creating compensation plans and commission payout structures using the IBM   Cognos ICM tool by building and executing complex calculations, custom reports using Composer,   Presenter and Payee Ledger. 
• Proficiency in creating and publishing dashboards and writing SQL queries to upload   transactional data into ICM tables
• Prior expertise in business analysis and technical to develop requirements document for ICM   (Varicent) implementation
• Skills in importing data from external sources into Varicent tables.
• Experience with Plan Manager to create payee groups and payee members for compensation plans
• Configured monthly, quarterly and annual incentives for compensation plans
• Must have used Portal Access to create trees, assignment rules and access to users
• Must have created expert and proficient deliverables such as Business Requirement Documents   (BRD), Functional Specification Documents (FSD) and Requirement Specification Document (RSD)
• Skills in DataStage (server and parallel Extender), SQL, performed Debugging, Troubleshooting    and performance tuning
• Experience in working with multiple data sources: Oracle, MS SQL Server, Netezza, and others
• Capability to solve complex ETL technical problems and assimilate information rapidly.
• Proficient in UNIX shell scripting.
Education: 
• A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, MIS, or Computer Science or related field or in   the alternative a combination of education, certifications and work experience equivalent to a   Bachelor's degree.

Skills Preferred: 
• Recent Varicent/ ICN experience
  Other Requirements: 
• Strong Communication and Documentation skills
