Technical/Functional Skills | ● Knowledge of overall Software development lifecycle, QA software testing methodologies and concepts including build artifacts and deployment topologies ● Knowledge of database structure and design ● Demonstrated ability to analyze requirements for test plans, test cases, and definition/creation of test data ● Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality testing artifacts ● Proven ability to execute test cases, track defects to resolution, and resolve execution issues ● Demonstrated customer focus and successful team interaction ● Proven ability to identify and solve difficult problems independently ● Demonstrated skill effective communication (written & oral) to various audiences, including management ● Proven ability to manage individual tasks against published milestones ● Understanding of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio) and test management, requirements and documentation tools (QASymphony qTest, Jira, Confluence, etc.) ● Proven applied knowledge of all prescribed systems, databases, languages, processes and documentation methods and tools for requirement traceability, data creation and validation including but not limited to: PearsonAccessNEXT, qTest Manager, Jira, Confluence, DCT, Jenkins, SAS Enterprise Guide, Quality Monitoring Application, QTI Response Generator, ODM, SQL, NoSQL, Robomongo, XML, and XSL ● Ability to collaborate within the organization (onshore & offshore) ● Able to identify and solve problems independently ● Proven ability to complete multiple/overlapping assigned tasks with minimal direction on time ● Able to quickly gain and share expertise for assignments Able to work extended hours when required to support existing application and to meet delivery dates for new or revised applications |
