Role: Cisco Network Engineer
Location :NYC, NY
Duration : 6+ Months
Need Locals F2F
Job Description:
Need 7+ years of experience on Cisco Networking .
Working knowledge of Cisco networking (Nexus Platform, routers), Cisco LAN and WAN technologies.
Experience with Solarwinds.
Cisco CCNP certification a plus
Must know Citrix Xen and VMWare Networking components
Shift Flexibility - Work off hours at times and between shifts to accomplish a multitude of tasks which cannot be performed during bank hours.
High level network engineering in a complex highly segmented secure network environment. Ability to troubleshoot complex networks and security infrastructure.
Ability to work with vendors to manage external connections
Must have working knowledge of Client Blade and Client Virtual Connect technologies
Create comprehensive documentation for new deployments and changes to existing systems
Having a solid working experience and understanding of; Windows Active Directory, Windows DNS, VMWare, Citrix Xen Virtualization, Check Point firewalls, Client SAN Storage, Bluecoat web filtering.
Travel – job requires occasional travel between NY, Parsippany, and Philadelphia as needed
Closely adhere to Change Management and Security policies and procedures
