Job Title: Technical QA Lead

Location: Cincinnati, OH

Rate: $45/hr on C2C

Duration: 6+ Months

 

Technical Skill:

The QA Lead is responsible for quality and test related process execution with high impact to the business.  This includes providing feedback on artifacts developed during requirements and analysis phase within client projects; authoring test plans and test cases; and performing / leading test execution for both project and support related activities.  The QA lead is responsible for leading and supporting testers in an agile environment that may be located locally or remotely in the US or India.  The QA lead is responsible for coordinating providing guidance and oversight on testing standards and processes, including assisting with code reviews.  Testing can be manual or automated (Selenium Web Driver will utilized for automation). The Kroger QA lead must be familiar with the Agile Methodology as well demonstrate hands on experience with Selenium automation concepts and tools and web service testing concepts.

·         5+ years of QA Lead experience

• 3+ years of experience writing Selenium tests in Java
• 2+ years of experience with test runners (Junit, TestNG, Mocha, Jasmine)
• 2+ years of experience with CI tools (Jenkins, TeamCity, GitLab)

• 1+ years of experience testing web services (manual or automation)
• 1+ years of working in an Agile/Scrum methodology

Job Title: ETL/Data warehouse Tester

Location: Cincinnati, OH

Rate: $45/hr on C2C

Duration: 6+ Months

 

Position Description:

The tester supports quality assurance programs and processes in alignment with QA strategy.  

The tester is responsible for providing feedback on artifacts developed during requirements and analysis phase within client projects; authoring test cases; and performing test execution for both project and support related activities. The tester will be predominately performing manual testing in the first few months but will heavily participate in establishing our test automation approach and automation testing thereafter.

Position/Project Specific Requirements:

·         5+ years of relevant experience in software quality assurance

·         3+ years SQL utilizing complex queries and writing stored procedures

·         2+ years testing data/data transformation/data movement (ETL)

·         Firm understanding of data architecture and ETL workflows

·         1+ years of experience with Netezza and AMPP

·         1+ years of using Informatica IDQ or other tools to automate ETL tests

·         1+ years of Agile methodology experience

·         2+ years of using Quality Center/ALM for test case management

·         1+ years of using Jira for defect tracking

·         Prefer Informatica IDQ experience to be on most recent project

Job Title: SOA Tester

Location: Cincinnati, OH

Rate: 45/hr on C2C

Duration: 6+ Months

 

Position Description:

An ideal SOA tester would have the analytical skills and Kroger awareness to validate the engine’s results.

 SOA tester will provide the support in developing SOA/integration interface test plans and estimates, automated test script development, executing service test scripts, reporting/tracking defects.  The tester may also contribute to functional testing as needed by the team.  The Quality Engineer is responsible for managing quality and test related process execution with high impact to the business. This includes providing feedback on artifacts developed during requirements and analysis phase within EDGE and other R&D projects, authoring test plans and test automation, and performing test execution for both project and support related activities. The tester should be able to work on different protocols and API’s.

 

Minimum Skills required:

·         8+ years of relevant experience in software quality assurance

·         6+ years of hands-on, automation testing of integration web services (both REST and SOAP protocols) that include database validations

·         Demonstrated experience in XML, XSD, XPath, MQTT, Topics, HTTP, HTTPS, JSON, Bytes array message format or Extensible Authentication Protocol (EAP)

·         Experience in SOA frameworks, processes, strategies, and approaches

·         5+ years of test automation using DevTest / LISA / SOAP UI

·         Java/Javascript programming (and Selenium) is a plus

·         3+ years of working in an Agile/Scrum methodology

·         5+ years of using Quality Center/ALM for test case management

·         3+ years of using JIRA for user story management and defect tracking

·         Ability to succeed and focus in a fast paced environment with noise/distractions

·         Point of Sale, weigh scales, mobile devices, etc.

 

Position Specific Skill Preferences/Desires:

·         Prefer 8+ years of automation testing web services using ITKO LISA, CA LISA, or CA DevTest

·         Prefer SOA test experience be utilized in the current/most recent project

·         Prefer Agile be utilized in the current/most recent project.

·         Prefer experience working in a SAFe Agile environment

Qualification for all positions:
