This role exists as a coach and trainer for Agile teams and leadership.
The coach will leverage the Agile practices already defined by the organization in order to deliver high-value business capabilities.
The coach should be familiar with scaled agile frameworks (such as SAFe), Scrum, Lean, eXtreme Programming (XP), and the agile principles.
Identifies opportunities for continuous improvements and influences change at all organizational levels.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Delivers hands-on coaching around the defined agile practices to individual teams and programs.
* Drives continuous improvement to create higher performing program/organizations and/or teams.
* Coaches Agile Product Owners, Iteration Managers, Analysts, Developers, Testers, and Leaders.
* Work with individual programs/organizations to discover their needs, plan, and deliver; while ensuring alignment with the organizational strategy.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
* Bachelor’s degree or (4 additional years of IT experience beyond the minimum required may be substituted in lieu of a degree)
* 6+ years’ experience performing in multiple Agile roles preferably in Business Analyst or Iteration Manager roles
* 2 or more years’ experience as an Agile Coach or working in a similar role in a lean or scrum environment
* Working knowledge of the software development lifecycle and methodologies
* Ability to influence change at the leadership level to the team level and to form productive relationships quickly
PREFERRED
* Agile certification from Scrum Alliance, ICAgile, Project Management Institute, SAFe or other agile organizations
* Demonstrates Agile mindset and working knowledge of Agile techniques including Scrum, Kanban, User Story Writing, eXtreme Programming, and scaled agile frameworks (such as SAFe)
* Experience with training development and delivery
* Strong collaboration, facilitation and conflict management
