Role: Senior Java Architect – Lead Backend & Cloud Solutions

Location: Plano, TX (Hybrid)

Duration: 12+ Months 

 

Looking for a strong solution architect who may lead a module of 2-3 people. While this is an Architect role, 60-70% will be hands-on coding, with 30% strictly architecture.

 

Qualifications:

• 12+ years in backend engineering (Java, Spring Boot, NodeJS, REST, microservices).
• Expertise in AWS cloud, Kubernetes/Docker containerization, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficient with databases (Postgres, MySQL), Kafka streaming, and observability tools.
• Proven leadership in agile teams with mentoring experience.
• Skilled in managing technical dependencies, vendors, and cross-team collaboration.

Preferred:

• Experience in FinTech, Auto Finance, or regulated industries.
• Familiarity with ML/LLM production integration.
• Involvement in product backlog and release planning.

 

In compliance with the salary transparency law, the expected pay range for this role is $60 - 70/hr. Actual compensation depends on experience and interview evaluation.
