Top Skills:

-          Experience supporting GIS application projects as an Analyst/Developer or Business/Systems Analyst

o   Knowledge in application design, development, installation & modifications within the ESRI ArcGIS platforms

§  Including: FieldMaps, ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Portal/Enterprise

o   Exposure to HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular), and REST APIs

-          Experience in .NET framework, C#, Python using ESRI libraries and SQL

-          Proficiency with SAP S4, including integration with GIS

-          Strong ability to work collaboratively with both business & technical teams

 

About the role: The Sr. Business Systems Analyst will design and implement enterprise geospatial solutions for Utilities on their client's ESRI ArcGIS platforms. This project leads business transformation with a focus on energy infrastructure and customer services. The ideal candidate will be able to enhance project efficiency and sustainability across the enterprise by working collaboratively with both business and technical teams.  The client's goal is to optimize operating models, standardized operations, and process automation. This team specializes in core enterprise solutions like SAP Plant Maintenance and ERP, integrating advanced tools for scheduling, dispatch, mobility, reporting, analytics, and AI.  This person will be a true GIS technologist with an analytical mindset to drive efficiency and effectiveness across the project!

 

Requirements:

·         5+ years of experience in application design, development, installation, and modification of real-time GIS applications in an online environment

o    ArcGIS Portal/Enterprise using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular), and REST APIs

·         2+ years of experience developing and implementing solutions on ESRI ArcGIS platforms – specifically FieldMaps

o    Developing Mobile GIS field applications using ArcGIS Runtime SDK for both windows and iOS devices

o    Integrating SAP S4 with GIS applications

·         Working knowledge of SAP Spatial Asset Management and ArcGIS Pro

·         Previous development experience on .NET framework, C#, and Python using ESRI libraries and SQL

·         Foundational knowledge of machine learning or AI as applied to geospatial datasets

·         Experience engaging directly with clients and executive stakeholders for project status updates

·         Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related discipline (e.g., Geographical Information System)

 

Preferred Skills:

·         Utilities industry experience 

 

Responsibilities:

·         Design and implement enterprise geospatial solutions for Utilities on ESRI ArcGIS platforms

·         Understand the technical and functional needs of the project and ensure that the system aligns with operational goals and standards for geospatial data accuracy

·         Identify and document user requirements, such as data processing needs, interface functionalities, and system improvements.

·         Work with project stakeholders, SMEs, and business clients to understand the requirements and specifications for new applications along with re-engineering existing applications

·         Able to take a large conceptual problem or project, break it into components, establish plans and a critical path, achieve incremental goals and deliver on time

·         Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and verifying performance, reliability and fault tolerance issues
