Role: Python Developer with DevOps
Location: Remote
Duration: 12+ Months
Python Development:
- Design, develop, test, and maintain Python-based applications.
- Write efficient, reusable, and reliable code using best practices.
- Troubleshoot and debug software defects and issues.
- Collaborate with other developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
- Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards.
- Stay updated with the latest Python libraries, frameworks, and industry trends.
DevOps:
- Design, implement, and maintain Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Automate build, deployment, and release processes to ensure efficient software delivery.
- Monitor, optimize, and scale applications to enhance performance and reliability.
- Implement and maintain infrastructure as code using tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Terraform.
- Work closely with the operations team to identify and resolve infrastructure-related issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement best practices for software development and deployment.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Collaborate with software engineers, QA engineers, and product owners to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and management on project progress, issues, and recommendations.
- Participate in agile development processes, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospective meetings.
Requirement:
Technical Skills:
- Strong proficiency in Python programming language and Python frameworks (e.g., Django, Flask).
- Solid understanding of software development principles, data structures, and algorithms.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git, SVN).
- Knowledge of DevOps tools and practices, including CI/CD, containerization (Docker), and orchestration (Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and associated services.
- Proficiency in Linux/Unix environments and shell scripting.
Experience:
- Proven experience as a Python Developer, preferably with exposure to DevOps practices.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and working in cross-functional teams.
Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
