Hi, This is Akhilesh Gupta from VBeyond Corp. We are a global recruitment company with specialization in of hiring of IT professionals. One of our clients is looking for Oracle Applications Database Administrator (Exadata admin) at Midvale Utah 84047 Position brief:  Title: Oracle Applications Database Administrator (Exadata admin) Location: Midvale Utah 84047 - Remote for nearby Type: Contract Job Description:  Responsible for the support of production databases, releases of Oracle, supporting Oracle Applications Suite, time and labor, project costing and project management. Installs, upgrades and patches Oracle Exadata databases and Oracle Applications. Writes scripts or JCL and tuning complex SQL code. Analyzes and resolve data issues and troubleshoots problems. Designs and implements database security and user access. Responsible for partitioning, materialized views, indexing and parallel execution. Responsible for tuning existing and new databases, including adjusting database parameters, file system tuning and server tuning. Recommends changes to database design and code to improve system performance. Participate in and may manage projects. Other duties as assigned.
