Role: Kafka Architect Location: 100% Remote Duration : Long-term contract Job Description:
· Designed and implemented event streaming and management solution using Confluent Kafka cloud, ksql, Kafka Connectors and stream processing. · Install, configure, and support clustering and provide end-end support within given SLAs, in highly critical enterprise environment · Set up multi broker cluster and configure to high availability requirements · Build data pipelines to allow for data streaming · Develop and support end-to-end monitoring tools and utilities to monitor queues, brokers, and connectors(ex Grafana & Prometheus) · Proactively monitor and plan for Kafka cluster scale-out needs · Automate day-to-day Kafka related operational activities Design and implement API Gateway and Mediation platform using Kong API Gateway in high availability environment
