Manage the complete software development process from conception to deployment. • Scope, design, implement and unit test new and existing features for new and existing web pages. • Build product definition and leverage your technical skills to drive towards the right solution. • Engage in cross-functional collaboration throughout the entire software lifecycle. • Lead in design sessions and code reviews with peers to elevate the quality of engineering across the organization. • Define, create and support reusable application components/patterns from a business and technology perspective. • Mentor other engineers. • Consistently share best practices and improve processes within and across teams.
We are looking for a highly motivated Software Engineer / Android Developer with a passion for building native Android applications that focus on a unleashing the efficiency of our internal field staff.
Required Skills:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems or equivalent education or work experience - 2+ years of Android development experience - Able to edit code and build native Android apps using Java & Kotlin - Proficient use of Android Studio and Gradle - Broad understanding of user experience in Android applications, MVC & MVVM design patterns, GIT, REST APIs - Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment - Strong organizational skills to be able to focus on multiple tasks and projects at once - Excellent time management skills and attention to detail is required - Excellent verbal/written communication skills, including communicating technical issues to non-technical audiences - Experience with tracking project work through Azure Dev Ops or similar AGILE technologies
Desired Skills: - Experience building CI/CD Pipelines and testing automation. |
