Job Description:
Must Haves
-10-12+ years as a Java Developer (Back end)
-Java, JDBC, Spring
-Strong Financial Services/Banking experience, recent experience
Desired Skills, not required
- Equities Clearing
- Derivatives
- 10 plus years’ experience in Java Development and hands on with Java and SQL development
- Must have strong knowledge of Java, Docker/Kubernetes, Mircroservices, SpringBoot and Oracle or MySQL databases
- Working knowledge about messaging middleware IBM-MQ or Kafka and JMS API.
- Restful APIs, caching solutions and event-driven architectures.
- Preferably familiar with spring cloud framework and container technologies like Docker, Cloud foundry etc.
- Must have working knowledge of all major CI/CD tools like Gitlab, Jenkins, Nexus, Ansible etc. for build, packaging and deployment
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- High level of proficiency in Java with extensive experience in multi-threading, collections, high performance programming.
- Spring, JDBC, unit testing, and clean code programming
- Develop and leverage automation tools to provide a quicker time to market for delivery of project solutions
- Acts as a technical resource to the development staff in all phases of the development and implementation process.
- Research and evaluate alternative solutions and recommend the most efficient application programming solution. Implement solutions to solve complex problems associated with computer equipment, capacity, limitations, and performance.
- Responsible for program design, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation.
- Participate in code reviews and application transition to support team.
