Position:           Cloud Systems Engineer Location:          Monroe Facility(Initially Remote) Implementation Partner: Coforge     General Description:        This role will be a member of the team that designs, builds, tests, deploys and maintains solutions to support the company’s infrastructure. The role is expected to efficiently respond to incidents, manage problems, resolve and perform root cause analysis. The individual will partner with necessary business partners as a subject matter expert and to resolve issues. As such there would be a necessary knowledge and understanding of current technologies. The position would be accountable to contribute to developing new automated processes and standards to assist the team in continuing evolution. Assist in ensuring that corporate security policies are maintained, enforced and aid in resolving vulnerabilities.     Specific Responsibilities: Focus on automation and integration of other networked components to create a highly orchestrated services ecosystem. Assist and/or leads support activities when incidents arise in the physical and virtual infrastructure. Assists in leading operations and technologies required to build and maintain the physical and virtual environments. Continually evolve infrastructure and processes for higher levels of availability and scalability. Familiarity with various server operating systems, domain management, security software, infrastructure as code (i.e. Terraform), and configuration management (i.e. Ansible) Ensure that customer deployed environments are secure and consistent. Work effectively with customers, partners and teammates in a mission-critical and time sensitive environment. Monitor, manage, troubleshoot and fix IT infrastructures in production data center and cloud environments. Engineer, support and optimize hybrid infrastructures both on premise and in the Cloud (i.e. AWS, Azure, etc). Keeps management informed of team activities through Kanban (Agile) events and periodic one-on-one communication meetings.
