Roles/Responsibilities    SnowflakeDevelopment Engineer

•            Conversant in Snowflake Cloud DB and understanding of best practices inSnowflake

•            Knowledge and experience of using AWS services/Spark and different connectorsto Snowflake from various ETL & BI tools

•            Conversant with Snowflake latest features

•            Writing Snowflake Sql, Snowflake stored procedures & UDF

•            Orchestrating the code using Snowflake tasks

•            Defining the virtual warehouses and Snowpipe

•            Conduct performance tuning & Unit testing

•            Should have extensive experience in source data profiling, data analysis

•            Have experience/knowledge in DevOps processes using Git and Jenkins

•            Able to coordinate for QA/UAT for controlling PROD defect leakage

•            Need to work beyond technical team to work closely and partner with Moody’splatform (AWS infrastructure), and network teams and Moody’s Cyber Securityteam

•            Good experience in Agile and tools like Jira, Confluence

 

Preferred certification: SnowProcertification,  AWS CSA
