Job Title : Python/Back-end Developer - 41781-1
Job Location : McLean, VA
Duration : EOY (Extendible upto December 2022 )
Backfill: He is a very strong Python/Back-end Developer. He was there before the product was there. He was a very heavy Quantum user. He knew his way around on how to build the product and had extensive knowledge of the existing code.
The role is an existing team, trying to backfill one of the positions who recently left.
Full Stack : Front-End : Angular, Back-End : Python, hosted on AWS.
What are they looking for?
- Strong Python Developer
- Solid Python background developing APIs (REST)
- Extensive experience on AWS infrastructure
- Experience on Serverless Infrastructure Docker, Lambdas, S3, DynamoDB
- Ability to develop and deploy applications developed in Python to deploy on AWS.
- We have a UI component, Nice to Have, not expecting a Solid Full Stack Engineer, we do have UI Engineers on the
- 20% UI and 80% Back-End.
- Nice to Have: Data background, app is based on data streaming.
- Need to know JSON
- It's more into application development, application will use built in data libraries that Capone already has
- Experience Level : 7 years, Equivalent to Principal Engineer role at Capone (Full-Time)
Project/Application
- Capone has an application-built house called Quantum for building data transmission
- Our application sits on top of Quantum and uses for data transformation.
- Our app (Python Library or API) is meant for internal users, but more meant for non-technical users/business users/accountant.
- Our app (Python Library or API) is an abstraction of Quantum we have presented a user experience on Browser.
First 60 Days:
- Active Development, lot of development work left. We started end of January, 40% is done.
- We have 2-3 months of development and productionalizing the app.
- Getting up to speed, understanding the scope and divison
- Writing code in Python
- Our application is Greenfield
