Job description:
As a DataAnalyst, you will provide Data Analysis to complex, cross-team strategictechnology initiatives. You will act as the primary consultant for eliciting stakeholderdata needs, investigating and clarifying data requirements and investigatingthe available data and then creating the data lineage for the development team.You will be responsible for thought leadership, creative problem solving,cultivating and sustaining client relationships, providing appropriateescalation of issues and resolving escalated issues using solution knowledgeand expertise in a complex environment. Your responsibilities include authoringdetailed functional and non-functional business requirements / user stories/personas / journeys/KPIs/ mock-ups that map business strategy, customerdemands, and technology delivery.
Summary of responsibilities:
· BreakdownBusiness Requirements into Functional User Stories to enable IT Planning andexecution for Build and QA teams
· Interrogate theavailable data and complete the Data Analysis and Mapping to create the DataLineage
· Producescenario and data flow documents
· Complete DataProfiling using tools like Informatica Data Quality and review data profilingresults with business.
· Documentrespective data lineage/transformation logic
· Createstraceability between requirements and data mappings to enable changemanagement.
· ProducePseudo-SQL/SQL to hand off to the developers
· Contributes tothe development of user guides, reference manuals and training materials.
· May have tocreate the Business Data Glossary
· Manage businessuser expectations and data requirements scope.

Required experience:
· 8 - 12 yearsrelated work experience successfully managing large, complex projects
Preferred experience:
· Advanced SQLskills and ability to independently analyze data and create lineage.
· Experience inHIVE SQL.
· Disabilityproduct experience or Insurance industry knowledge.
· IntermediateData Governance skills including familiarity with Collibra.
· Experience withData Analysis tools like Informatica Data Quality.
· Experience inmanaging project deliverables in Jira.
· Excellentcommunication, interpersonal, and analytical abilities.
· Experience inAgile methodology, tools, and Agile integration with Waterfall.
· Experience ininsurance, financial services or technology consulting.
· Data managementand data engineering best practices is a plus.
· HadoopTechnologies experience is a plus.
