Job: Performance and Load Testing Manager/Architect Duration: REMOTE Location: 3+ Months Job Responsibilities Engage with client's stakeholders to understand existing performance bottleneck issues for their on-premise Web applications, Web server & database infrastructure, Integrations, Web Services Work closely with client team members to assess and document their existing performance and load testing requirements, testing frequency desired, testing scenarios and load testing tools deployed. Determine and prioritize critical business processes, Web services and APIs to be load tested, establish baseline metrics and SLAs from production env. Develop detailed performance and load testing strategy document in line with customer's QA and release management processes and present to their leadership team Create detailed performance test plan covering various load testing and scalability scenarios – Normal, Peak, Stress, Spike, Endurance Work with onshore and offshore team members to automate load testing scripts using various load testing tools such as LoadNinja, JMeter Work with both AST and client team members to design, configure and execute on complex load testing scenarios Monitor performance test runs and assess metrics at all tiers of the application under test Perform detailed analysis of test run results, reports, metrics and graphs Create performance run reports and present to project stakeholders with bottleneck issues highlighted Attend Project/Team meetings and contribute feedback based on testing results and status on project deliverables. Job Requirements 7 - 10 years of progressive experience leading performance and load testing efforts for various types of applications – Web, Web Services, On-Premise, APIs, Cloud 5 – 7 years of hands on experience doing load and scalability testing for web, packaged applications, web services and APIs subjected to high volume of transactional and concurrent users load Experience assessing client's performance and load testing requirements, create baseline metrics and detailed test strategy document Experience creating tactical performance and load testing plans and working with onshore and offshore teams to execute on them Hands on experience installing, configuring and implementing various open source and licensed load testing and monitoring tools e.g. LoadNinja, JMeter, Loadrunner, SOAP UI Experience automating performance and load testing scripts using LoadNinja and JMeter tools Experience designing, configuring and executing load scenarios to simulating varying levels of production load on applications under test - Normal, Peak, Stress, Spike, Endurance Proficient in doing detailed analysis of performance test run results, reports, graphs and providing insights on test progress, root cause analysis and bottleneck areas Experience work with high level programming and scripting language, networking protocols, web services and APIs – .Net, SQL, Java, C#, HTTP, SOAP, TCP IP Experience in all aspects of performance and load testing including test planning, documentation, execution, defect management and results reporting General understanding of software testing processes, practices and QA methodologies Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills Excellent interpersonal and communications skills (verbal and written) Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or related field required Thanks and Regards, Manosh Saturn Infotech, Inc.
