Job Description:
- Experience with more than 2 programming languages
- Experience designing and implementing highly scalable cloud-native and microservice architectures
- JavaScript/NodeJs full stack development
- Web and native mobile development (React, React Native, iOS/Swift, Android/Kotlin)
- Restful and GraphQL Api development and usage
- Serverless applications (Lambda, Lambda Step Functions, Serverless Framework, Api Gateway)
- Containerized applications hosted on Kubernetes with service mesh technologies (Fargate, EKS, Istio, Envoy, Flagger, Chaos Mesh)
- Event- or message-driven architectures and technologies (Kafka, SNS, SQS, Kinesis)
- SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, CockroachDB, Neptune)
- CI/CD methodologies and toolchains (GitHub/Lab, Jenkins/X, CloudBees)
- Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform and CloudFormation)
- Payment integrations (Square, PayPal, etc.)
- .NET WPF with C# development for our Windows Gamestation PCs in the arenas
If they would like a basic description of our day-to-day work, we are building a social media platform for esports and gaming, for lack of a better category/label. This includes developing a set of 5 user applications that utilize a serverless microservices backend hosted in AWS. We will use Kanban and Scrum as our methodologies (each across different workflows).
