URGENT

Role: Java Developer Location: NYC, NY Contract: Duties and Responsibilities: ·       When allocated to specific projects, be responsible for: o  Working with senior members of the team to design solutions based on business and technology requirements. o  Work on day-to-day JIRAs for requests driven by business users or regulatory programs; o  Writing Unit test cases (JUnit), documenting technical design and other operational procedures o  Ensure high quality change documentation consistent with global standards is generated to facilitate the application release process. o  Provide level 2 production support for systems; ·       Collaborate with project managers, business analysts and developers to strengthen the project delivery standards which include standards for design and development. Technical Skills / Tools: ·       5+ years of core Java programming & SQL experience ·       Spring framework/Spring MVC ·       JavaScript language and web development framework experience (e.g., AngularJS, ReactJS) ·       Familiarity with Java and web testing frameworks (e.g., Junit, Selenium) ·       Familiarity with build and deployments tools such as Ansible, Docker, Maven ,Jenkins, ·       Strong and confident communicator with good interpersonal skills ·       Strong problem solving experience in a technical environment ·       Self-motivated individual, quality and improvement focused   Professional attributes important to this role (i.e., Communication, written and oral): Ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priority tasks effectively. ·       The candidate should have a positive outlook and be a self-starter. The ability to communicate well within the team, as well as across the division is essential. Team player with good interpersonal relationship skills.
