Job Description
- Understanding various software development lifecycle
- Using objective oriented programming language C, C++, C#, .NET and Java for writing automation control software
- Basic awareness to industrial communication protocols - Profibus, Ethernet, ControlNet,DeviceNET, EtherNET etc
- Basic Database skills beneficial
- Basic understanding of electrical engineering or controls engineering concepts beneficial
- Some experience in HMI/SCADA/GUI development is beneficial
- Experience in PLC or real-time controller programming.
- Background in scanning and/or bar code reading technology
- Completes all in-house testing and emulation
- Knowledge of software configuration management and change management practices
- Can quickly analyze, incorporate and apply new information and concepts
- Participating in design and code reviews
- Comfortable being customer facing at remote locations
- Willingness to travel
- Ability to work flexible shifts as needed to support mods during customer downtimes
