Summary of Opportunity
Immediate need for Senior Business Analysts fora 10-month contract with our client in downtown Dayton. This individual will provide subject matter expertise for technical guidance, training and direction with a team of development professionals.
Nature of work:
? Extensive understanding of business analysis principles, process, and applications/elicitation tools used for managing requirements
? Extensive understanding of user acceptance testing and End to End testing
? Deep understanding of a project lifecycle, including processes, techniques and tools
? Strong interpersonal and proven ability to establish effective working relationships with stakeholders at all levels
? Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
? Ability to work independently and within a team environment
? Effective listening and critical thinking skills
? Ability to coordinate and lead cross-functional teams
? Extensive experience working on multiple projects
? Effective decision making and problem solving skills with close attention to detail
? Time management skills, ability to develop, prioritize and accomplish goals with a sense of urgency

Job Responsibilities:
1. Responsible to understand the stakeholder's business culture and priorities to effectively identify business problems, assess proposed solutions, and represent the needs of stakeholders
2. Excel in all areas of requirements analysis, leveraging appropriate company and industry approaches and modeling techniques to gather requirements, document the according to corporate standards and procedures, and prioritize them for assigned areas
3. Maintain the group focus, lead meetings toward stated goals and manage the group dynamics in facilitating requirements gathering and review sessions, including writing Agile epics and user stories
4. Build, sustain, and leverage professional business relationships when gathering, validating and approving requirements
5. Remain impartial in requirements discussions and confirm understanding by all parties involved when validating requirements
6. Recognize inconsistencies and gaps in a complex business process
7. Maintain requirements traceability throughout the project’s lifecycle
8. Assist the development teams in understanding and elaborating requirements and transitioning them into a comprehensive solution
9. Assist with the preparation and execution of User Acceptance Testing
10. Mentor other team members
11. Assist the project manager in developing the requirements phase plan
12. If assigned, work with business to develop a business case including return on investment, soft benefits and any regulatory issues
13. Assist the project team in identifying and resolving scope, schedule, and resource issues
14. Assist the project team in estimating the impact of change requests on timelines, budgets, resources and project scope
