Location: Sunnyvale CA
Job Description
As a Salesforce Architect, you take care of the architectural vision for the team. You value simplicity and you are unafraid to challenge technical constraints and procedures to achieve the right solution. You are responsible for designing and managing the Salesforce Org along with integration with other systems and custom extensions across all Salesforce applications, keeping in mind the multiple lines of business in a single org. You work closely with all team members and will play an integral role in solution scoping and designing the optimal solution to meet the needs of business with a focus on usability, security, scalability and cost.
What You'll Do
Be the Technical Lead for the Salesforce.com integration and development of the product
Ensure design is architected correctly and meets salesforce.com best practices
Authors the technical design specifications of the product, and ensures alignment of the solution to enterprise architecture & strategy
Manage overall development, validation, and deployment plans.
Conduct ongoing meetings to review the design and progress toward design identified
Providing ongoing coaching and mentorship of the technical team, and support the Developers on complex code issues and design gaps
Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to the Developers
Be hands on and engage in coding to help the team to develop his solution and solve all surfacing problems at hand Identifies and removes technical impediments
Demonstrate the ability to learn and research advanced data technologies and concepts, learning new skills and software as necessary
Assess all risks and offer mitigation strategies, communicating impacts to project across multiple channels
Who You Are
University Degree (Computer Science)
Minimum 5 years of coding experience as a Salesforce Developer
In-depth knowledge of the standard capabilities of SFDC and have successfully expanded on those capabilities using custom code (Apex, JavaScript)
Experience with Salesforce Sales, Service, and Community Cloud
In depth understanding of Lightning Experience and Lightning Aura/Web Components, SOAP, REST APIs
Demonstrate expertise in complex SOQL statements and RDBMS systems
Experience with master data management, data governance, data security, data quality and related tools
Solid understanding of SDLC, software architecture and system integration
Ability to assess the impact of new requirements on Salesforce.com and all upstream and downstream applications, systems and processes
Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills across multiple levels of the organization
Articulate the benefits and risks to a solution's feasibility and functionality
Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of audiences (technical and non-technical, staff and managerial), and in a wide range of settings (e.g., one-on-one, small group, in person, conference calls and via e-mail)
Experience in a Scrum/Agile Environment
Certifications
Ideally any of the Salesforce Architect certifications.
