Responsibilities:

• Design and engage in discussion with Solution Architect ETL development using Spark, Scala to ingest data from Hive / HDFS, perform validations on the data to inspect data quality.
• ETL code packaging, versioning & deployment using Jenkins , oneartifactory Perform data movement from landing zone to staging using Oozie workflows while invoking REST APIs to enrich and blend data.
• Drive the data transfer from HDFS into serving layer in Postgres DB using Presto , Spark / Scala. Maintenance Security issues
• Nee6 - 10 years of experience with carrying out complex development on Big data platform proven skills in debugging performance issues
• ETL code packaging, versioning, deployment and troubleshooting experience. Experience in flattening out data and storing for quick performance in serving layer Telecom network domain experience Prior Verizon experience preferable
