Looking for a Senior Data Modeler who has good experience in Data Modeling and database design tools, team is on ER studio.
Need someone who can manipulating data and data mapping tools- team is on XMLSpy.
Strong understanding of workflow and statecharts, and data profiling.
Strong understanding on business concepts and able to connect the dots, comfortable working with cross functioning business areas, articulate written and verbal communication skills is required.
Highly preferred for Ex-Freddie or Ex-Fannie candidates.
Job Description:
Position will support the MF EBM implementation to support cross division data priorities, specifically MF data flow to EBM/Nexus Processing, that are needed by consumers in other divisions. These efforts would extend over the next 3-5 years at least, ex. Finance Roadmap, Reg Reporting, Enterprise Risk Capital Framework/ERCF, CROS, ERM or ICM.
For the first iteration, the EBM provided resources to create the 10-tab EBM Model input template to capture lineage, app information, workflow and statecharts, transcription of the entities and attributes, etc. However, this work will progressively transition to the MF EBM team.
In addition to MFEBM support, the Data Modeler/Senior Analyst will also work as part of the modeling team to perform analysis in support of the model governance work, ex. enum standardization and governance, key attribute profiling and solutioning, etc. The data modeler/sr analyst is also part of the data modeling team and will support capturing requirements and producing data models and schemas for the MF product teams. We can support and work with up to 10 product teams at any one time.
The work requires someone with data modeling and deep analytical skills and quick understanding of concepts and relationships, as well as excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. The work involves intensive analysis of the consumers' processes, needs and data requirements, mapping to MFLDM, creating workflows and state-charts and defining events, creating an MFLDM sub-model of the data needed for consumers, and working with cross division teams to provide input to the EBM model development, and determine alignment to MFLDM and working with the MF Data Architecture/Modeling manager to determine how best to align and why we should not align.
